WHAT MAKES A GOOD FRIEND??

To me, a good friend is someone who is there for you no matter what. Someone who is there to listen when you are having a bad day, week or month. A friend will tell you when you have something in your teeth or you tucked your skirt into your underwear when you went to use the bathroom. A friend CALLS you on the phone, not just text or AIM.

Friendships are like relationships without the sex (for some ppl). Everyone has to put in time and effort to make a friendship last.

I had a friend call me to ask if I could pick them up and drive them from their house to their mothers. When I said I couldn't do it, they didn't speak to me for 3 months. Even though I would ALWAYS drive them wherever they needed to go.

Now, I know I'm not getting a gold metal in friendship anytime soon but I'm pretty sure I can get the silver. Whenever my friends need me I'm there. I may not call as often as I should, but you know how that goes.

It's sad when you see a friendship growing apart, but when something has run its course there really isn't much for you to do but be grateful you have those memories. Good or bad.

I always wanted to have friendships like Sex and the City. I know, it's TV and that makes me lame but whatever. I never had a group of friends who liked each other and who could go out and not talk crap as soon as the other one left.

I will say this, I am happy with the friends that are in my life right now. They care about me and support whatever "life goal" I'm into at the moment.

Plus they find me really funny.

I guess deep down inside we're still all JHS kids who have different friends every year because our old friends are in different classes. But with more money. And body hair.
