WEEKEND UPDATE...5.1.08

First off let me start by saying Happy Cinco de Mayo!! Damn, how fast does time fly? It feels like it was just Christmas.

Anyway, What's up my lovely peeps? Hope you guy's had a dope weekend. Mine was soooo much better than last week..

My weekend started a day early, on Thursday, with a trip to the grand re-opening of KID ROBOT. It came out pretty cool, they made it 2 floors .

As you probably know by now I'm a nerd that collects toys and of course I needed EAST3's so I had to go. and of course I dragged my sister with me=)

ok, so now we made the mistake of driving into the city during rush hour and it took us 2 F-ING hrs to get there! OMG...we were about to go home, but then we found parking and it was all good.

As we're getting closer to the store we see the huge crowd on both sides of the street...then I noticed a MAY BACH with curtains so I'm all like, "who that be?"....

It was SWIZZ BEATZ.

He seemed really cool, chatting with people and taking pics with fans. Dude is skinny as hell.

Once we get inside it's crazy...the computers were down so the cashiers had to write out the receipts by hand & there were a ton of people therefore the line was not moving.

So of course I started taking pics:

After I get the toy we head upstairs to get it signed and I noticed people recording the event. Then I remembered they were going to broadcast the opening live on KID ROBOT.com and me and my sister start talking about how we always wind up in the background of things so random.

On Friday me, my sister and jojo beans went to this spot in bk called BRENNAN & CAR. It's great if you love rost beef. I had chicken.

On Saturday me and the bf stood in and tested out some totes...

Sunday was flea market day. I went with my mother and her bff. OMG...I don't know why I do it to myself. For all of you who don't know my mother, she's "one of a kind" and that's a whole other post in it self. anyway, the flea market was OK. I got a post card. whoo hoo. After the flea market we hit up some yard sales. Yard sales are awesome, if you like going through other peoples crap. which i do=) and the last yard sale i hit up i found a round vintage GUCCI bag that i have been wanting FOREVER. So it was a good day!
